  1. Midnight's Children is one of my all time favourite books - so I wish you that :-)

    1. Yeah, it's great! Not sure whether it is a favorite but definitely worth a reread. (This will be my second time reading it)

  2. That's quite a mix you have there. I have had the ambition to go back to some of the classics I read in school (Greek tragedies, Paradise Lost) now that I might have more of a chance of understanding them, but somehow I never get around to it. I should do a spin with those to get me going. I hope you enjoy your spin book!

  3. The Calvino I thought an awful lot of fun, and I quite liked The Golden Ass, but I own both Kalevala & Conference of the Birds, but haven't read either one, so I hope you get one of those & can tell me about them!

Hope whatever it is you like it!

  4. I just love Paradise Lost but some Greek plays would be good as well. I see you snuck The Road to Wigan Pier on the list, or was it just providence that it showed up? In any case, have a wonderful spin!!

  5. Nibelungenlied...close to 50 years since I've read that. I remember enjoying it. Hope you enjoy whatever we get.
